Financial Aid Pell Grant Now Gives Over $5000!
If you have ever thought of returning to college, and you are single mom with kids at home, you can still do this over the Internet. The problem is funding. You could take out student loans such as the Stafford and she would have to pay it back in as little as 2 1/2 years. Here’s a way that you can get free Federal funding through grants and scholarships by filling out simple applications.
Moms that want to return to school are obviously thinking that this is a bad idea because of the amount of money that it would cost. They are busy taking care of their family and do not have a dime to spare. However they are also looking into the future of their family situation and how they can better provide for the children that they love.
There are a couple of things you need to consider before you decide to go back to college.
The first thing is to determine whether or not getting a student loan or applying for grants is the better choice. Obviously, grants are free and therefore financially speaking are better choice especially after leaving college. Student loans however are an excellent choice if you need to get approval quickly and start your college career in the very near future
The second thing to consider our Government educational grants that offer you the ability to get your college education going without taking out a student loan and never have to repay the money. You could apply for a Pell Grant, a Teach grant, or Smart Grant, and if you qualify, you will not have to worry about repayment of the loan in the future.
The one you should go is the Pell Grant which was recently increased to over $5000 by the Obama administration in an attempt to get students back into college. Knowing what a financial burden it is to exist, they would be even more of a burden to actually pay for school and maintain the lifestyle that you currently enjoy.
Finally, Pres. Obama has allocated over $12 billion in federal aid to help college students get back to college. The problem is filling out the paperwork in an appropriate manner. Yes there are some qualification issues such as having a financial need, but by taking the time to fill out the paperwork and submitted in a timely manner, you will put yourself that much closer toward earning a free college education.
